The stables are now all done with white plaster....Many square meters to do - but now we're done!

What's that sound? It's hailing! This is probably as close as we'll get to a white Christmas this year....
Old buildings/walls are sometimes cracking up. This is due to bad mainenance on the roof so that water comes in from above and over time the walls start to crack. This is the wall on our old "forno" (baking oven). We took it down yesterday, and today we'll start to rebuild it - a bit stronger than before. Then we need to fix the roof so no more water comes in....
In northen Europe everyone is waiting for snow. Sunday on our walk with the dogs it looked as if it was snow here!!! But no - only flowers as long as you could see... Fantastic!
QSI (Quality School International) of Brindisi had a Found Raising activity at Masseria Coccioli. There was a big buffét served and then a raffel with great prices. The money raised will go to bying new Sience Cabinetts at school!
Today, 22:nd of November, fall finally came to Puglia and Coccioli. The rain will do good in nature...but we are already missing the sun - but they say it will come back again on saturday! So why complaine? Curl up with a good book next to the fireplace is not such a bad idea!
Unlike Sweden, here we cut the grass during fall, winter and spring. There is a lot of open space at the Masseria and a small tractor is needed to get the job done. This is "Åke" he is new and will be a lot of help....
Our chickens are now producing eggs...we hope to be able to serv many fantastic eggs for breakfast during the season 2012!
